Giving Soles was founded by Coach Jeff Higuera, owner of Competitor Performance Academy in Central Florida, where he has spent more than 25 years helping athletes of all ages and ability levels become stronger, more confident, and better prepared for success both in sports and in life.

As a coach, business owner, and father of five, Jeff has always believed that making a positive impact on someone's life goes far beyond what you can teach them in a gym. His desire to start Giving Soles came not only from wanting to bless children in need with a brand-new pair of athletic shoes, but also from wanting to teach his own children the importance of generosity, gratitude, and using what they've been given to make a difference in the lives of others.

Through the relationships he has built over the years with athletes, families, friends, and businesses throughout Central Florida, Jeff hopes to bring people together around a simple mission of providing as many brand-new pairs of athletic shoes as possible to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the excitement and confidence that comes with receiving them.

For Jeff, Giving Soles is an opportunity to turn the blessings and relationships he's built throughout his life into something meaningful for others, while showing his own children that some of the greatest rewards in life come not from what we receive, but from what we're willing to give.
